Kids in Tune is a secular organization offering:

  • School Mindfulness Programs - training and resources for teachers

  • Curriculum Enrichment - active learning adventures through movement, mindfulness and imagination 

  • Yoga & Craft Workshops and Parties - tailor-made for small groups in Cape Town

School Mindfulness Programs:

Teaching teachers simple skills and techniques to cultivate mindfulness in themselves and their students, for more peace and productivity in the classroom and school environment. 

Curriculum Enrichment:

Emotional well-being practices such as kids’ mindfulness, yoga, brain gym, and guided meditations combined with imaginative stories exploring the depth and diversity of life on Earth.

Natural Science topics such as space, the seasons, life cycles, rock cycles, the water cycle, photosynthesis, pollination and different ecosystems are incorporated to reinforce school learning in an active and multi-sensory way. 

By revealing the wonders of the natural world to children, Kids in Tune develops a sense of connection between nature and self and fosters sensitivity, appreciation, and respect for the environment.

Kids in Tune's holistic learning adventures also aim to facilitate self-empowerment so that children can better manage their daily stresses and deal with their uncomfortable emotions such as anger, anxiety, frustration, and sadness. This is done by:

  • Exploring the different emotions through stories and personal experiences

  • Learning to observe their self-talk (inner dialogue) that is creating their emotion -   “What am I thinking to make me feel like this?”

  • Learning helpful mindfulness techniques to change their thoughts and emotions when needed

Kids Yoga & Craft Workshops and Parties in Cape Town:

Kids in Tune hosts various yoga and craft workshops throughout the year and themed yoga birthday parties on request.

My new kids yoga book 


This rhyming yoga adventure takes us to the Okavango Delta in Botswana, where Fiona, the friendly frog, goes on a quest with Chelsea, the cheetah, and a string of other animals to find Bobo, the baboon, to hear if he knows where all the tourists have suddenly disappeared to.  This book also invites you to explore topics of fear, change, tolerance and self-acceptance with the children in your life. It is secular and no previous yoga experience is required.
